William Robalino earned his B.S. in Public Accounting from Pace University and an M.B.A. from New York University’s Stern Business School. He started his career at JPMorgan in the Accounting Management Training Program. William went on to work at Lehman Brothers and spent 4 of his 10 years at Lehman’s Tokyo, Japan office. After Lehman Brothers, he joined UBS where he supported the Rates and Commodities businesses as their controller in the Americas, earning his six sigma green belt while leading numerous efficiency and regulatory projects. William left UBS when he was presented with a great opportunity to lead a new division at BNY Mellon as the CFO of the investment banking division and then went on to develop Prudential’s Annuities Business Resolution Plan as part of the Dodd Frank regulatory requirements.

William was the CFO for Council for Aid to Education. He assisted the organization in revamping its entire IT footprint (hardware, software and cloud). William added new clients, assisted in retaining existing clients, and reduced expenses by restructuring various contracts. He led ALPFA NY’s as President from 2011 to 2015. During William’s time on the executive board, the chapter grew from 1,200 members to over 3,300 members and tripled the number of corporate partners and professional development programs.

William currently sits on the board of Achievement First and currently is working on the facilities committee with a focus on expanding AF’s educational footprint in Brooklyn and Queens. He also assisted in cashflow and sensitivity analysis to help the board and finance group make more proactive decisions as it works through its expansion plans.

He is also a member of the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) and sat on their Corporate Advisory Board. In addition, William is also an active member of Sponsors for Education Opportunity (SEO) and frequently mentors Career Program students during the summer.
