Nicole Nicholson

Instructional Supervisor

Nicole is an education professional that brings over 10 years of classroom experience and 5 years of non-profit management. From 2015-2018, Nicole shared her talents as a 4th and 5th grade teacher on Long island. From 2009-2014, Nicole served as a Special Education Teacher in the Bronx and Brooklyn. Teaching in underserved neighborhoods and schools, she was inspired to learn more about the world of development. As an educator, Nicole saw a need for so many things and so she learned how to research, identify partnerships and write grants to enhance the supplies and resources for her classroom and school communities.

In addition to her service in the classroom, Nicole served as the Director of Education for The Little Orchestra Society and currently works as the Director of Music for Christ Lutheran Church in Wantagh, New York. She is delighted to be joining the MusicBreeds team, where she can continue to advocate for the power that the arts hold in shaping the lives of young people.

Nicole holds a Bachelor of Arts in Performing Arts Management from Hartwick College, a Master of Arts in Educational Theatre from New York University and a Master’s in Education from Hunter College.
